i’ve noticed that my recent handphone pictures predominantly consist of either land surveyor markings, or then, photos of night-time projections. perhaps i am noticing it a lot more because i would like to work a lot more with visualisations and projections in the near future…

kode prata and roti9

22 MAY 2010: kode9 playing at heineken green room’s “20hz deep” in the soon-to-be-opening SCAPE mall. with the words roti prata behind him, picture proof of what i said earlier. i guess this was one of the biggest hype-ups in recent times and it was a pity that the sound was a real letdown that night, especially since lots of us had high expectations of the big man of hyperdub. kyle hall and syndicate sounded alright though, but their sets probably did not intend to be as bassy. the speaker on the right was absolutely blown. was it that singapore could not handle the bass? tragic!
